Our Educational Trip In Kalamata Η Εκπαιδευτική μας εκδρομή στην Καλαμάτα

From February the 28th since March the 2nd of the year 2011

,we made an educational trip in Kalamata.


Από τις 28 Φεβρουαριού μέχρι τις 2 του Μάρτη του έτους 2011, πήγαμε μια εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στην Καλαμάτα

We are back...!!!! Γυρίσαμε πίσω...!!!!

After a long period we have started again...We have already informed the new students of our school about our progress. We told them how our program works and what we want them to do to help us.
We also gave them the address of our side. In order to make them interest for our program we gave them some information photocopies. In these photocopies we explained them how to save energy, and what they should recycle, that's why we saw them the recycle bins we made last year.


 Μετά από μία μεγαλή περίοδο ξεκινήσαμε ξανά... Έχουμε ήδη ενημερώσει τους νέους μαθητές του σχολείου μας για την πρόοδο μας. Τους είπαμε πως λειτουργεί το πρόγραμμά μας και τι θέλουμε από αυτούς να κάνουν για να μας βοηθήσουν. Επίσης τους δώσαμε την διεύθυνση της ιστοσελίδας μας. Για να τους κάνουμε να ενδιαφερθούν για το πρόγραμμά μας τους δώσαμε μερικά ενημερωτικά φυλλάδια. Σε αυτά τα φυλλάδια τους εξηγήσαμε πως να εξοικονομούν ενέργεια  και τι πρέπει να ανακυκλώνουν για αυτό τους δείξαμε τους κάδους ανακύκλωσης που φτιάξαμε πέρυσι.

We have made a lot of activities these 2 years.
Let's take an example:

We have watched a lot of videos, we have read a lot of magazines and newspapers about the environment.

We have also visited Wind Farms in our area.

And finally we have seen energy saving devices at the Environmental Educational Center Of Ierapetra.

Our targets

To save energy in our school.

For that reason we must:

Turn off the lights, the central heating and all the other electric appliances in the school.

To decrease the amount of water that we use.

To recycle aluminum, plastic, paper and glass.


We must also make the students responsible citizents not only at school but also at homes.
